The passenger train ¹65/66 Chsinau-Moscow, which belongs to the Russian Railway, will travel via Cuciurgan in Transdniestria as of December 15, under the protocol of intentions signed on November 24 in Kiev by the heads of railway administrations in Moldova, Russia and Ukraine.

Officials of Moldova’s Railways told REPORTER.MD that the full-scale movement of the passenger and freight trains via the border crossing Valcinets - Moghilev-Podolsk is planned to resume soon. Specialists representing the three sides are now working in Kiev to draw up an optimal timetable for the trains that will travel through the mentioned crossing.

A temporary agreement between the Russian Railway, State Railway Transport Administration of Ukraine and Moldova’s Railways is expected to be signed in Kiev on December 8.

Russia stopped the movement of the fast train ¹47 Chisinau-Moscow on November 1 because it was bypassing Transdniestria and coming with delay
