How to reach Svetlana's flat :

From Train station:

Minibus N 166  You may catch the minibus at the trolley-bus station - on the exit of the train station go straight and left.Usual duration of this trip is 30 minutes. Ask the driver to make a stop on M. Spataru intersection with I. Vieru street. My house is on the corner of these streets. The reference point is "Alimentara" (food store), with a bar and a drugstore at the corner of the building.Cost of taxi 2 Euro.

From Central bus station:

Minibus N 105  It has a stop at the corner of Bulgara and Columna streets. One quarter left and down with your back to the market. Usual duration of this trip is 20 minutes. Ask the driver to make a stop on M. Spataru intersection with I. Vieru street. My house is on the corner of these streets. The reference point is "Alimentara" (food store), with a bar and a drugstore at the corner of the building. Cost of taxi 3 Euro.

From North bus station:

Minibus N 191 Turn left on the exit of the buss station, cross the Ismail street and catch the minibus 191 at the corner. CAUTION! This is the middle of the minibus's route and there may not be enough space for your backpack in it. Usual duration of this trip is 15 minutes. Get out at the last stop of the minibus on Igor Vieru street. My house is opposite to the minibus stop and has an "Alimentara" (food store), a bar and a drugstore at its corner. Entrance from the yard. Cost of taxi may vary from 3 to 5 Euro

From South bus station:

Minibus N 155 You may catch the minibus at the street Grenoblya.Usual duration of this trip is 40 minutes. Ask the driver to make a stop on M. Spataru intersection with I. Vieru street. My house is on the corner of these streets. The reference point is "Alimentara" (food store), with a bar and a drugstore at the corner of the building.

From Airport :

Minibus N 165 to Ismail street (last stop) change to minibus N 191 . The whole trip may take up to 60 minutes and is not the best option when travelling with a big suitcase or backpack. Ismail street is somewhere in the middle of the 191 minibus' route and usually all seating and standing places are unavailable. Please, consider taking a taxi from the airport instead.

"Svetlana's Flat is accommodation a great price. Also once you figure out the microbus system, the location is just fine. It costs 3 Moldovan lei to get on a microbus and they go all over town. Chisinau is not very big. Svetlana's flat is a budget accommodation for sure. You get a clean bed and a clean place to shower. Most of your time is best spent exploring Chisinau. She has another flat closer to the center of town that offers more privacy and room. I stayed there two nights and it was great, had friends over, a kitchen, good times. Price is very reasonable."

Trip to Old Orhei and wine cellars in Cricova.
"Old Orhei" can become soon the first cultural monument to represent Moldova in the World Heritage List of UNESCO.
Cricova wine cellars represent the undeground city of 120 kilometers.

The highest point in Moldova near the village of Balanesti, among agricultural fields and the Codru forest.

One hundred knolls. Some scientists believe that One Hundred Knolls is the only place in Europe with this many underwater reefs of the Mediterranean Sea.

Cavng trip to the cave of "surprises".
Located 2 km north from city Criuleni in a forest line on the right bank of river Dniester, it was discovered by amateur speleologist in 1970's. The cave has three entrances, two of which are very difficult. It was created as a result of tectonic movements of the earth's crust, in blocs of
sediments of limestone.
